And here we go, a classic rivalry. I'm trying to mess with light more in my concept art. Starcraft fan art is like a guilty pleasure for me.
Alrighty, so I just couldn't help but do some fan art for the new blizzard game coming out, super excited!

After much frustration, many failures, and few successes, I think I have finally gotten the hang of destroying buildings using physics, rigid bodies, and the shatter effect.
Pretty much first time working with text integrated into art work, so far just illustrating magazine or newspaper articles.

And so the walk cycles continue...
Trying to animate different rigs that are free downloads from the internet. Getting the Hang of different walking and flying cycles.
My intro to maya final, apparently a huge disappointment. Learned rigging, lighting, bump mapping, texturing, modeling, camera angles, sound sync, and keeping a low poly count. time allotted to work on project: 2 weeks.
My first completed and operational rig!! Just learned how to make attributes, such as closing and opening a hand. Now the opportunities are endless!! Can't wait to start experimenting with rigging, and surely much much more are on the way.

Starting to put some character into these digital walk cycles.
Starting to work with cycles in Maya, and articulating the body in 3d space. Always taking any opportunity to play with some lighting.
Practicing moving the camera through a digital environment in maya to portray some kind of character purely through the camera movement.
